Why I Coach
A desire for positive change can be the first step forward. Personally, I am an advocate for not waiting. Not waiting to find happiness in each day; not waiting to travel, live in new cities, turn dreams into reality, create new connections or rekindle old ones. And I believe in not waiting to actively chart a positive path forward personally and professionally.
After decades of being coached in ice skating and swimming, and now as a sports coach and personal coach, I find great value in the coach/client connection and appreciate the benefits of encouragement, positive re-enforcement and accountably.
I understand how the mind body connection benefits athletic pursuits and reaching your life goals. As a personal coach, I bring that same mindful awareness, reinforced by knowledge of psychological science, to my coaching conversations and activities.
I live in NYC, travel as often as possible (the photo above is from last summer's trip to Ireland) and continue to set goals for myself. My most recent are to help others through my coaching practice, become fluent in Spanish, add cross stitch to my love of handcrafts, and better explore NYC's diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
